Level Up Pickleball Camp nets $95,297 in economic impact in Charlotte County!
Imagine – a three-day pickleball camp with 78 attendees resulting in $95,297 in economic impact in Charlotte County. That’s what happened with 78 players participated in the Level Up Pickleball Camp on Jan. 21-23. Of the 78 participants, 68 stayed overnight. The results were determined by the Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach Visitors and Convention Bureau (PG/EBV&CB) event impact calculator and not by PPPG. With eight more courts, PPPG will be able to offer more educational opportunities to our members and generate even more in economic impact. Camps are also an excellent source of revenue for PPPG. Youth and educational adult programs, including camps, are part of our mission and the expansion will allow that to happen and will reduce the overcrowding on the current 16 courts.
